  I cannot recommend Garefino Funeral Home highly enough! Working with Charlie and his staff made a very unhappy time in my life much smoother and more bearable than I would have imagined possible. Having little familiarity with funeral homes in my area, and faced with the sudden death of my spouse, I literally chose Garefino blindly after a quick Google search. It was one of the best decisions of my life. From the get go, Charlie was compassionate and considerate. He anticipated questions, suggested options, and offered wise counsel. In the midst of grief, one forgets many details and Charlie consistently offered reminders and suggestions in a patient, reassuring way. I felt no pressure and no "up sell" of any kind. Family and friends had offered to help with aspects of the services (music & video) and Charlie was welcoming to their contributions, with top notch communication & responsiveness. Throughout, Garefino Funeral Home offered a thoroughly professional and compassionate approach with personalized attention and follow up that has meant a great deal to me. Their facility is attractive and convenient and provided a beautiful setting for my spouse's memorial service. I look back now on the entire experience with the highest satisfaction. Charlie Garefino and his staff listened to my wishes and provided a memorable service for my loved one. I will gladly return to Garefino Funeral Home in future.

  Charlie Garefino made a difficult time, so much easier to deal with. His attentiveness to every detail and request was greatly appreciated. Despite the fact that we took a lot of time to schedule the Memorial Service and interment, due to family scheduling issues, Charlie was extremely accommodating. I will always be grateful to Charlie for ensuring that my wife's wishes were faithfully honored. I highly recommend Garefino Funeral Home!

  Not living in the area for 30 years and never planning a funeral before was difficult enough but add in the emotional stress of a loved one passing and the task became unbearable. However, that's where Charlie Garefino stepped in. The Garefino Funeral Home was professional and helpful on every level. From planning a service and helping find sources in the community to speak at the service to suggestions on locations for a luncheon everything was handled with ease. While this experience will never be an easy one, Charlie Garefino's focus on details and comfortable manner do make it so much smoother.

  When losing a loved one, it's difficult during that time to think clearly about all the decisions that need to be made. I can honestly say that our experience with Garefino Funeral Home was truly wonderful. Charlie made it as stress free and simple as possible.
