  I normally always have hibachi downstairs, and always love it. I’ve had a few instances where they didn’t understand or fully accommodate my allergy, they have gotten better with that. Tonight, my boyfriend and I sat upstairs for my birthday dinner. Food was delicious, both of ours; buffalo roll, why not roll, and the filet mignon & shrimp hibachi combo. However, everything came out extremely fast and my food was not even luke warm. I’ll be back to try it again hoping it is hotter!

  Always an incredible experience. Just be prepared that the place is ALWAYS busy but in the best way possible. The staff are working very hard and sometimes that reflects in the service, meaning that it can be difficult to get drinks, etc. I consider this a minor inconvenience, but not one that dissuades me from going. Hibachi is always a good time, and the sushi is a nice change of atmosphere (much quieter, more intimate) and one of my favorites of all time.

  Took 7 teenagers for a hibachi birthday party and the everything was amazing! The food was so good and plenty of leftovers for tomorrow( yum)! The service was excellent! I was totally blown away by the birthday song and having her friends join in the celebration! She was so happy; it was such a great experience!

  Delicious sushi restaurant in Hackettstown. Decent prices and a huge list of rolls. We had a couple appetizers and 4 rolls, which we all enjoyed. They also have vegetarian roll options. We came towards the end of the evening but still plenty of time to be seated and order before the kitchen closed. The staff that evening unfortunately rushed us through our meal. I wouldn't judge the restaurant on one interaction, but it is something they could work on.

  Always have such a good time coming here! Whether it's upstairs for regular sushi or noodles, or downstairs for hibachi it is always excellent food and excellent service. We usually come here for special occasions and our last visit was to celebrate getting married. We treated ourselves to hibachi and it was delicious and perfect, just like always! If you're looking for a real NYC Japanese cuisine experience, absolutely dine here. Reasonable prices for an experience you would expect closer to or in the city.
