(June 13, 2023, 9:15 am)Pretty nature walk that is easy to miss if you are not looking for it. This nature preserve is so close to the center of town but once you park and get started on the path it's easy to feel like you are in the middle of the woods. The trails are easy to read and everything was very clean. Easy parking lot access. This preserve probably gets very busy in the summer. I see there were kayaks people can rent as well.

(November 11, 2022, 12:38 pm)Wonderfully quiet and quaint trail. Not too long or challenging. Great for a stroll in nature with scenic water views and shaded tree cover.
About 1.5 miles around the lake/pond/reserve. Mostly flat, gravel trail with tougher areas of tree root exposure causing some “rugged and bumpy” areas (but beautiful and natural).
We took our 2 week old baby in our jogger stroller and loved every second of it, she fell asleep along the way🤗
Highly recommend for a quick little getaway stroll.
We also saw fishermen and there is kayak/boat access🤘🏼 -

(August 15, 2022, 2:55 pm)Absolutely beautiful, amazing and fun the trails are beautiful and clean so you can bring the little kids also. The entrance to the lake is very small and the parking is decent, we always go during the week so we always find the parking but on the weekends it’s a nightmare, unless you take Uber etc, you can walk to different trails or just sit by the lake and relax, you can rent the paddle boat or kayak for very nominal price or bring your own and do it for free, fishing is permitted, swimming is not allowed, portable bathrooms are clean!

(August 9, 2022, 5:09 pm)Great trail around the lake with lots of shade. The connecting islands are beautiful and so cool. Great place to walk your dog. I even saw some dogs going for a swim.
Would have been nice if there were more places to throw out doggy bags but this is a small complaint. -

(July 8, 2022, 6:36 am)It's a beautiful spot to find a reconnect with nature! There are lots of spots to sit and take in the views! I love the swans, but there are fish, dragonflies, and turtles sunning themselves on logs. You can rent kayaks canoes and paddleboards from Ramsey Outdoor for an hourly rate.
