(February 18, 2023, 5:13 pm)Passed by this place too many time since I moved to Hamden. They have so many good choices that I think I’ll be going through the whole menu. I only wish it was open a little later but still an awesome place.

(November 19, 2022, 7:46 pm)Fire, reasonable prices, sandwich I got is the Feegee. The fries are like better Mcdonald’s fries (I don’t eat McDonalds but everyone knows the fries are good there). Man who I believe is the owner was super friendly. The atmosphere inside is neat. The quality of the shaved steak was superb, bread was fresh and the wedge sauce is a great addition. The best thing is - they combine all this heavy stuff but it was hardly greasy if AT ALL, and it gave me energy without tiring me out later on. I think i’ll be getting the “blunt” sandwich next time LOL. Top 10 spot!

As a note, it is clearly stated on the menu that there is no changing anything on their items - meaning no substitutions or removals/add-ons.
It can get kind of busy because there are 1-2 people working everything, but I'm telling you the food is worth the wait! I went on a packed night, waited maybe 20 min for my food and got to take it home. I definitely had enough food for 3 meals (so great for college kids who like to eat a lot) and got great recommendations from the chef.
This is my new go-to spot for sandwiches and good food after a hard day's work! -

(February 26, 2022, 7:12 pm)Stopped by the first time today and it won’t be the last. The fattie was fresh and one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time! The owners were also very welcoming and personable with us. Highly recommend to anyone and looking forward to going back.
