I have been going to Family and Esthetic Dentistry since I was a child. It has always been a very clean establishment full of wonderful staff members. Lisa always does my cleanings. She is very thorough, friendly, and great at what she does.

So after way too long of an avoidance of my dentist, Dr Howard Charney, and his office l went back today and found everything better than ever. With a complete analysis, not revealing any of their findings, l have 2 follow up appointments. Let me say my appointment was kept to the minute from x-rays to gum depth everything was performed with great care, precise, and informative.

My wife and I have gone to Dr. Charney and all of the great technicians here for several years, and we agree that this is the ideal dental practice. The office staff are always friendly and helpful, the technicians are also friendly and very competent, and Dr. Charney is great. He is an extraordinarily skilled dentist -- and he always friendly, funny and down to earth. He is careful, gentle, and personally attentive. Appointments are always on time, and they make the whole process smooth and effective. There is a good feeling in the office from the moment you walk in, while you are being treated, and as you are leaving. We have referred several friends.
Sixteen years ago Dr. Charney installed a dozen crowns in my mouth to correct my deteriorating teeth. The quality of his work is so outstanding that today, at age 81, I appear to have excellent teeth. Moreover, the dental technicians at Family and Esthetic Dentistry of Hamden have given me superb care. The entire staff is friendly and professional. You cannot get better care anywhere.
I have gone to Dr. Charney for a number of years now. He is an excellent dentist, knows what he is doing, and has all of the latest equipment. Recently I had a crown put on, and the whole process, including the molding and fitting of the tooth, took but one visit. His staff is professional and courteous. No waiting. I am always seen at my scheduled time. I would highly recommend him.
