Taryn instructed a class for our Brownie troop and the girls (as well as parents) loved it! She not only taught them yoga poses, but reinforced positive self image and the importance of supporting one another. Her background as an OT came shining through as she taught the girls techniques to cope with nervousness. I can't say enough positive things and would highly recommend to anyone interested in an instructor.
Our Girl Scout Brownie Troop had a wonderful experience working with Taryn to earn their Best Self Badge. Taryn was very detailed oriented in making sure our yoga session was just right to meet the needs of our group. The girls learned various yoga poses and relaxation techniques along with the importance of taking care of yourself. Taryn was patient, kind, knowledgeable, organized and a pleasure to work with. Our meeting ran very smoothly and was enjoyed by all! Thank you Expanding HoriZens for providing this experience for our troop!
I know what you’re thinking... my 4 yr old is way too active for yoga! I thought mine was, but took a chance and was so pleasantly surprised! Taryn uses yoga poses and breaks them down for the kids, she keeps them moving. She uses fun music and keeps the kids engaged! My extremely active son had a great time, and that’s saying something!
Wow what a great program, the kids all get into it and the teacher is great. Highly recommend!
Expanding HoriZens Children’s Yoga and Taryn Lenahan are phenomenal! My 5th grader does WarriorZen Tween Yoga and comes home every week full of peace, hope, kindness, strength and confidence. Best moment ever was her coaching me to use my breath and a positive mantra to get through a challenging presentation. 🙏
