  After taking a fall at work, I started seeing Bishoy at the recommendation of several friends and family. I’ve always had back pain, but after this fall, it got significantly worse. Bishoy is knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly friendly. He created a plan with me and we’ve been working through it. I’ve experienced significant relief and my only regret was not going to him sooner. I would recommend him to anyone experiencing pain or simply looking for increased agility or ease of motion. I am very grateful to have been able to work with him!

  Saw Dr. Youssef for the first time through a referral and glad I did! Been dealing with a lot of finger numbness because of programming so it was critical I needed to get this resolved. Dr. Youssef was incredibly patient and tried various techniques to ensure he was targeting the proper areas in the neck and shoulders to resolve the issue. His constant asking of patient feedback from the techniques is reassuring and shows me he actually cares to fix the problem, feeling a lot better after our first session and will certainly come again!

  I decided to start going to the gym after years of not going and the first workout I did was running on the treadmill. After a few minutes, I had to stop because I was feeling a lot of pain in my ankle. The pain lasted days. I visited the gym again and was experiencing the same issue. It was a bit discouraging and I was beginning to feel defeated.
  
  I decided to see Dr. Youssef at EmpoweredPT to address the pain even though I was a little hesitant and quite frankly, embarrassed because of how weak I was. After my first visit, I was immediately met with motivating and encouraging feedback and a structured plan to meet my goals to feel confident and productive at the gym again. Dr. Youssef really knows his stuff. He was able to quickly identify the muscles that needed work. Having the 1 on 1 sessions are very impactful because he is able to give me his full attention and takes the time to explain every exercise and muscle I’m working. He is extremely attentive!

  Now I am able to run and workout without any ankle pain and I’ve gained so much knowledge on how to engage different muscles for a more effective work out. I’ve seen a NOTICEABLE difference in my balance, strength and confidence. You can tell he really loves what he does. I highly recommend him!!!!

  Dr. Bishoy knows his stuff. I recently completed a through hike of the John Muir Trail. I came home with so many adventures and memories but I also came home with a case of plantar facetious. Dr. Bishoy diagnosed it immediately and gave me several exercises to begin the retraining process. He spends as much time as needed during sessions to make sure you understand your condition and also gives “homework” so you can have an active role in your recovery and prevention of further issues. I felt very empowered as I left. On top of the treatment he is a really compassionate person. I would highly recommend empowered PT.

  “In the spring of 2020, I received a grim diagnosis about my knee. I started to have knee pain and discomfort and my range of motion was decreasing as well as pain going up and down the stairs. I went to see a knee specialist/surgeon who told me that my knee is in a bad shape and my only options are anti-inflammatory pills now and double knee replacement in 10 years.
  This was devastating to a mother of three children who also liked to hike, bike, and cook for family and friends. I started to withdraw from the things I love and felt worried about my family.
  I began to look for help and explore the option of Physical Therapy. I was very fortunate to find Empowered PT and to work with Bishoy. He spent a lot of time listening to me and understanding what the issue was. He reassured me that with the right exercises and movements, I was going to get better. We started small with exercises I was comfortable with then we progressed overtime. I started to feel better and was encouraged to do more exercise at home.
  After few months of working with Empowered PT and at home, I am now able to do so much more. My pain and discomfort have subsided. My range of motion is almost back to normal. I can go up and down the stairs without thinking, I can plan activities with my kids and I can cook and host dinners, as I always loved to do. My knee is no longer holding me back.
  At Empowered PT, you will learn that your greatest asset and best healing tool is your OWN BODY. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I am forever grateful for what they have done for me.
