EMA is amazing! My son has been going for the last 4 years and to his confidence grow and his ability to take on challenges with grace have been wonderful to see. Deshi Kelsey along with her team are awesome and show these kids that they have more potential than they know
I would recommend Empower Martial Arts to anyone who is thinking of putting their child in Karate
We started our son at EMA so he would learn coordination, discipline, and confidence. In the year and a half that he has attended EMA he has improved in all of these more than we thought he would. The instructors are wonderful with the kids. They actually take the time to teach the kids the different skills. When one is showing them the skill, there are others walking around making sure they are in the correct position and form. One thing I love the most is the kids aren’t just a number. The instructors know all the kids’ names. We love it there!
EMA of Aberdeen has been a fantastic experience for all of my children. Not only have they learned self-confidence, perseverance and self-defense, but they also have fun while training. The instructors are encouraging and supportive and are really great with the kids. I definitely recommend EMA as a martial arts school.
My girl is only at EMA for 4 months at age 6. She is loving it and asking to go to karate class everyday. She is so much better at listening at home and school. Deshi and senpai are into details and pay attention to individual kids. Im very impress from where she was to where she is now!!!
I cannot say enough good things about Elite Martial Arts. All of the instructors and assistants are amazing, I feel bad not naming each one them but Deshi Kelsey is the best, you can tell this isn't a job for her, she loves these kids and what she does. She pushes each student to do their best, not just at the Dojo but at home and school as well.
Enrolling my daughter in EMA has been the best investment I've made in her future. Not just for the self defense aspect, but arguably more importantly her self-confidence and perseverance has exploded.
When asked why do you like going to EMA?
"Because it's fun and it helps with my focus and instead of it being really really hard, it's challenging but not too a point where I can't do it anymore. I just love it. And Deshi."
