I am a PCA live in and I work for Elizabeth's Home Health care. I am currently on a live-In assignment. I have read the reviews and felt a need to chime in. As an employee of Elizabeth's Home Health Care, I can say without hesitation, I love my job. In fact I take Great Care of my clients. I consider them my extended family. I take great pride in what I do, that will never change!! I love what I do and I care from the heart! Elizabeth's is the place to go to for services.
We hired this agency for 2 years and they bent over backwards to find us the right match in caregivers for my Father! We started off only needing daytime help, but progressed into 24 hour care, then overlapping, 2 caregivers at a time, for the best care for my Dad, since he became totally dependent for every task of daily living. The manager became a trusted friend who would only send us skilled caregivers who also had the right personalities to have the days and nights be filled with comfort, safety, friendship, protection, and care of my Father. I am indebted to this caregiver agency for all they did for my Dad, for me, for my Mom, and our whole family. The caregivers became part of our family during a difficult time. We are blessed to have had them, to have known them. I think my Dad will remain in their hearts, as they will remain in ours. I recommend you hire this caregiver agency!! You get out, what you put in.
The caregivers from Elizabeth's who took care of my father are wonderful, loving, capable people who helped to keep him safe, engaged, and as comfortable as humanly possible. Dad had Alzheimer's, and the caregivers were great about talking to him, entertaining him as much as possible, and keeping him laughing as much as possible! There were many times when Dad himself would voice his appreciation of their care and help. They were patient and big-hearted with all of us!
