(August 3, 2023, 4:14 pm)I’ve been wanting to try El Gordo for a while and finally had the chance. Got pollo, pastor, carnitas, and asada street tacos. First, they were filled with a lot of meat. The pollo was just ok, but the rest were absolutely incredible. Very authentic taste. It’s hard to pick a favorite because they were all excellent. The salad and chips were a very unexpected and nice touch. The salsa was also excellent and not too spicy. Only thing that gave me trouble was finding it. It’s inside a convenience store on the corner. I just didn’t see the sign. I will definitely be back!

(August 1, 2023, 12:51 pm)Wow. Best food. Not just for the price. I would pay $3 for a dollar taco on Tuesday. Absolute gem. I can’t wait to come back already. I ate my 6 tacos in parking lot. I never left and came right back to order 20 more for my wife’s staff. Amazing Amazing. Don’t be off-put my the convenance store front. This place is rocking. Constantly busy and authentic!

(June 28, 2023, 8:30 pm)Amazing tacos! Saw the good reviews so I stopped by. Didn't realize it was a take out only place. It is inside a mini food mart/ convenient store, which I didn't realize at first. Got pastor, azada, and carnitas tacos. The tacos were stacked full of meat. They did not skimp out. Also came with a little bag of chips. Overall delicious and great for price!

(April 8, 2023, 11:00 pm)This place is very good Mexican food & is very unassuming inside a convenience store, but do take a chance on it.
I had the chicken tacos and made sure to squeeze the lime on it. Duh! I did order one steak and it was spicy, but good! The only disappointment is the queso.. I know queso is not an authentic Mexican side but I’d if you’re going to offer it, at least let it be the white queso cheese NOT the basic yellow cheese dip you can buy at Taco Bell.
