  A hidden gem off of Buck Road. My Wife and I visited El Barrio Cantina & Tequila Bar with another couple and we were very impressed by the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. The restaurant has a fun and colorful decor with a Day of the Dead theme. The menu offers a variety of dishes inspired by Mexican cuisine, such as tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and empanadas. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas to share. They also have a nice beer selection and a beer store attached to the place. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and drinks.
  
  The service was attentive and friendly, but they also gave us enough time and space to enjoy our meal and conversation. We appreciated that they didn’t rush us out of our table. We also enjoyed the live music that added to the lively and festive vibe of the restaurant.
  
  We had a wonderful time at El Barrio Cantina & Tequila Bar and we would definitely come back again. We recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a fun and delicious dining experience with a Mexican flair.

  Great great great birria tacos🤤 best I've had thus far and I've had them from SOOOO many different places from north Philly to here and all over. I get mine with cucumbers on the side. Service is always exceptional. Place is beautiful with really nice people. I eat here alot.

  We finally made it to El Barrio and we loved it. Unique takes on Mexican dishes that did not disappoint. Not only was the food very good but the service was top notch and the restaurant had a cool decor that we enjoyed.
  
  I enjoyed the Shrimp and chorizo quesadilla, fried plantains, fig and bacon guacamole, and smores empanadas. Every was awesome.
