But out of all the times I’ve been here, Valentine’s Day dinner was top notch! I recommend to anyone to get reservations here for Valentine’s Day, the dinner was so delicious, it was unforgettable..

(July 3, 2023, 8:52 pm)Stopped in for lunch recently and sat comfortably outside. Our server Rick was efficient and attentive. I enjoyed one of the salads with grilled shrimp. My husband ordered tortellini bolognese and it was delicious. I’ll get pasta next time.

(June 30, 2023, 8:09 pm)I have to say the food is excellent. The pork chop special that is clearly noted on the menu will take extra time to prepare was so good. The sauce served with alone is amazing that it was taken home just to dip bread in. Excellent views. My only complaint would be HVAC if seated up against the windows that are adjacent to the outside patio eating area. The HVAC blows from vents on the celling and somehow bounces off that glass and circles around you. You basically get frozen from head to toe literally. Don't sit in these tables if you can help it. The food is the kind of food you want to eat slowly because you don't want it to end. Prices are a bit much but at least quality justified it. Parking lot is overcrowded because in recent years, they've planted a Rita's water ice store right in the middle of it. You end up with people trying to park for brief stops and others coming to dine, all competing for the same spots. They need to figure that out a little better.

The restaurant's home is a historic 1929 barn in the heart of Newtown and is the perfect backdrop for its homemade Italian cuisine.
The octopus carpaccio was a standout for me - it was sliced paper-thin and tasted incredibly fresh. But it wasn't just the food that made the experience special. The restaurant's warm and casual atmosphere made me feel right at home. It's easy to see why La Stalla has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. -

(February 7, 2023, 10:14 pm)La Stalla has been one our go-to spots for family dining for years. We came on a weeknight and had no problem getting seated quickly. We sat out on the screened in outdoor seating, which isn’t quite as nice as the indoor part, but it was still comfortable. Service was good, and the food was outstanding as usual. They offer good wine list, and a decent selection beer.
Great spot for good, authentic Italian food for families or dates!
