(August 18, 2023, 2:28 pm)Had requested a 4 mile float in a hard side tandem kayak, but the river was high and off color meaning the paddle wouldn't take much time. EWO suggested using an inflatable tandem kayak for our safety and that we run the full 6 or 10 mile paddle so we could get more time on the river. Overall a fantastic experience.

Super friendly team focused staff with an emphasis on saftey, extremely well-executed operation even during peak hours. If you want to hit the river do yourself a favor and go with this group.
Myself, my partner, and another couple were camping at the water gap and as a last minute decision decided to go kayaking. We picked this place out of a hat (not based on any reviews online.) Arrived at 10:30 and things were in full swing. Paperwork, safety check, confirmed the kayaks and we were in the trolley heading upriver within 30 minutes (fun story the bus driver said to us in advance 'im a school bus driver youll be fine' unprompted. I can see why she gave us thecheads up lol. That ride up is its own adventure). The staff was really nice and everyone knew exactly what they were doing and it showed. They had multiple trucks moving people all day, this is not a van and some tubes operation. From drop-off upriver to pickup at the end there was no wait. Which was great because after a 6 miles, 4 hours of kayaking the crew was gassed and was ready to get home.
If you are planning a trip to the gap you have to include these awesome people in the plans. My crew was already talking about coming back next summer and we will be coming back based on our experience alone (it's not the plastic kayaks lol). Keep up the great work! -

(July 18, 2023, 6:42 am)This place was an amazing day trip me and my partner had a great time we did the 6 mile trip which took us a total of a Lil over 4 hours only because we kept stopping along the way. You are able to pull off and picnic or swim at the allowed spots as long it is not some type of private property. You are allowed to fish, but only if you rent out a canoe I believe you can not fish if you are renting a raft. Overall great great trip for family and reasonably priced, and the water was not to bad either. It was pretty calm, even where the instructors claimed where there would be rapids. I highly recommend going here. So worth the trip.

(July 6, 2023, 1:26 pm)Fantastic staff and a wonderful experience. So glad we went with this place. Super easy and friendly. Parked the car, got driven to the river where our raft was, spent the afternoon on the river, got to our destination, jumped in the bus and got driven back to our car.
Absolutely brilliant day. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative.

(May 31, 2023, 9:52 pm)First time canoe people here. Wow what a blast my brother and I had. Everything was so smooth. We had a reservation for 10:30 arrived early at 10 and they had us out and ready to go. I love how they let you bring your own cooler and just the trip was so worth it! Thanks for an amazing time will definitely be back! We did the 6 mile and will be doing 10 next time. It took us 3 1/2 hours to do the 6 mile but we took our time a little. Again great trip and memories!
