I have to say I have seen every ped endo in tri state area and he’s by far the best. Yes not the greatest bedside manner but very thorough, upfront, and honest. My sons condition was tricky, and he himself wanted other eyes on it so he sent me to CHOP .. to make sure his diagnosis was correct! And CHOP reassured me he was indeed correct! And out of the seven doctors, he was the only one that gave my son, the correct diagnosis after 10 years of tears and fighting.. I owe this man my life.. he not only save my son physically but mentally it’s a struggle having a growth hormone deficiency..especially for young boys..
I had been trying to make an appointment with an endocrinologist for months in Bergen County. No matter where I called, and I called every single place available in this county, would say there's nothing available in the next six months. I was also told I could not make an appointment unless they had my child's growth records first. I had taken my older 2 children to a solo practitioner who was out of insurance network. My older son was under his care for a few years and I paid every visit up front. When I called to see what the initial fee is for my daughter, he called me himself saying " find someone within your net work". That was the response after paying him a few thousand dollars.
Long story short, I'm pleased with Dr. Brenner's care, follow up and office. It was worth driving 30-40 miles. I recently left a voice mail for the office manager asking for a letter. Dr. Brenner called me himself to put the letter together. That is an indication of his care.
