I'm a first time gun owner and purchased my Glock 17 Gen5 from Mel. I read all his reviews prior to calling him but was still hesitant at first although all his reviews were 5 stars. I was even more hesitant when I realized he ran his business from his home. Fastfowarding, it was the best decision I could have made. Mel is awesome!!!! He is very personable, knowledgeable & is an all around nice guy who runs a GREAT business from his home better than most gun shops I've visited or just as good. He is the bar of how a business should provide 5 star customer service. I've already recommended him to someone. Mel is definitely my go to guy from this point on. I will definitely be a returning customer whether it's for future firearm related purchases, questions or any other services he provides. Thank you Mel......

I bought my first firearm from Mel on 07-17-13. For the past month i have been trying to buy the new Walther PPQ M2 and every gun shop i called or visited stated that i had to be put on a waiting list for this firearm due to the high volume of people who want to buy this firearm. Some shops stated that they have a wait of up to two months. A few days ago I was searching online and came across Defensive Security.
