Lovely setting in the Nj Countryside between Clinton n Flemington..
Decent place to workout and swim for singles parents and children. There’s also a park nearby and shopping down just down the Road.
They have programs for seniors too.. So pretty much something for everyone. Why not give it a try and Join?
For some reason that last review posted WELL before I was done... so ignore it for the most part.
This review isnt even about the Hunterdon YMCA - that place is great - this is about the last reviewer calling a place Racist when that is not even CLOSE to the accurate word to use for a situation like she was describing, and its irresponsible and wrong to do.
Audrey Jackson - you DIDNT experience RACISM because some white guy at a front desk was rude to you. STOP CALLING NORMAL ASPECTS OF LIFE, RACISM!
A person was rude to you - FINE! Then thats all it was, and write a bad review because the front desk white guy was rude to you. But people really need to stop "THROWING AROUND" the word Racism as a cause for everything bad that happens to them.
Last night, I went to Walmart because our Walmart sells that Dot Ice Cream in a automated Machine - its inside the building, but technically not in the store. I really REALLY love it - So I tried to buy some with my Debit Card and it said "cash only"... I had a $20 and a $10, but it only took $1's and $5's...
So I proceeded to ask ALL 3 people that were left working at this store, if they could make change... and LET ME TELL YOU, HOLY SHIT WERE these 3 workers rude as all HELL and SUPER Nasty when I asked.
Infact all I got was "Nope, we cant open the register"... I was like huh? You're a giant chain store and I want to buy something FROM YOUR STORE, and you're telling me you can't open a register and give me some $5's and $1's? So I literally had to say "what about if I buy something, then will you open the register?" and they finally said "yea, I guess" so" ... like they'd have any choice......
So moral of the story here folks - AGEISM was definitely a part of how I was treated by these 3 women at Walmart... and it is annoying and frustrating... but am I going to write some review about it and make HORRIBLE claims about the people involved?
Calling a person RACIST - should not be as easy as people make it these days. It isnt a word that should be thrown around because it's extremely offensive to call someone that, because you're questioning their entire existence when you do it! It's not like you're just saying "they're nasty at this place".. you're saying you know for a FACT that they HATE a group of people and wish they were still slaves! And you can't say that about someone becasue he didnt do what you wanted him to do at the counter of the YMCA.
Like cmon people... we have to be a society!! I feel like the same people who are claiming they want equality, dont realize that everything they're doing, is singling people out and is being "non-inclusive" in their own way!
