  Nice place for a quick visit close to the city. The dam had gushing water which was so great to watch. There are some small trails to hike nearby. There’s also a park and plenty of parking available.

  This place is beautiful and the drive to the location is very therapeutic. Driving on a small bridge passing the waterfall is breathtaking. We parked and brought our dogs so yes this location is very dog friendly they just ask to pick up after them. They provide some benches with tables at the location but if you do not come early don’t think they will be available.

  What a wonderful day spent here, you must start at the top of the dam before the park so you experience Croton Gorge. The park isn't so big but it is such a nice place for a relaxing afternoon sitting on a chair just watching the water falling down the dam or barbecuing & having lunch. There are several vendors during the weekend that you can purchase food & ice cream etc.. They also have several porta johns & functional rest rooms. For the kiddies there is a playground as well. Be sure & take the time to relax, enjoy the park & take lots of photos !! Incredible place !!

  Spectacular, an engineering marvel! We took the footpath behind the playground to the top of the dam. It's about a 1 mile walk to the top. Easy walking path, fairly flat & gravel surface. Slight incline getting to top, but not difficult. Once on top enjoyed the amazing views.

  This place is absolutely beautiful! We went at the top of the dam, which was a little scary as to how high and powerful the water was. The weather was a little overcast so we couldn't bask in the glory, however it was still an enjoyable road trip will definitely return on a hot and sunny day.
