(November 28, 2019, 8:31 am)I love this place. The scene is so beautiful. One can witness the sunset as well as sunrise clearly. JFK international airport is across the waters where the planes can be seen bot takeoffs and landing. The sounds of winds and birds specifically ducks can be seen on the sand and in the waters. Fishing is allowed an so at peak times known by fishermen, You'll see many families fishing. There is two parts to this North Channel the Eastern part that overlooks Queens and the Western section that overlooks Brooklyn. There is enough parking place and a long trail of beach sand to walk on. It's just a beautiful place to relax .
I love the early mornings because its refreshing and the scene is phenomenal.
I've been comming to this place for 20 years and never gets tired of it.
I love the water ways, the sunset and sunrise, airports and planes, landings and takeoffs, fishes and swimming ducks and breathing fresh air. This place offers all of that. Not too far away is the Jamaica bay wildlife.
My children love this place too so that brings joy to my heart. -

(February 7, 2019, 6:40 pm)Cool place to kill some time with great views. You can watch wind surface in the spring and summer sometimes walk in the shallow water. It can sometimes be crowded when there are religious services practice there nice place to view wildlife as well
