  The following review *** is how i once felt about Constitution marsh..... Unfortunately, i can no longer gain access to the trail on a regular basis- why you ask? because they took away the parking spaces. ???why this was done, you ask???
  most likely at the request of the very fortunate folks who are lucky enough to live there.
  
  as an avid bird enthusiast and a donating member of Audubon- i am very disappointed.
  
  this is not an easy location for people to hike too if you are not an avid hiker. the hill one must traverse in order to get to the trails is no easy task.
  
  it is ironic that the "constitution" marsh has been taken away from anyone who is disabled
  or unable to walk .
  
  ***this place is great IF you are lucky enough to get one of only a few legal parking spots. but- as luck would have it- i was fortunate and so walked down the steep paved hill to the marsh trail. short hike with one or two steeper parts- but a walking stick did the trick and i enjoyed myself very much. did not see much wild life but a very scenic spot for photography and bird enthusiasts as it is a national Audubon Society spot.

  Note: There are only eight parking spots for cars and no alternative parking nearby. You may have to come back at another time if all spots are full.
  
  You walk down a private road, open to hikers, to the trail head at the education center. From there the little hike starts over some steep and rocky ground, already offering some beautiful views over the marshes before you go down again to enter them over a wooden bridge. With crossing the bridge you’re entering the marshes, having the possibility to walk a small circle on wooden walkways. It’s beautiful and relaxing as with only so little parking spots you don’t have to expect many people to be there. If you remain for a little while you may see muskrats and different birds.
  The total distance from the parking area and back is 1.2 miles.

  The building has excellent exhibits and is very educational. The area is beautiful. The sometimes rocky hike to the James P Rod boardwalk is stunning. Walking out on the boardwalk to the center of the marsh is a thrill. Each time you turn your head, there is something more beautiful to see on this hike.

  Constitution Marsh Audubon Center and Sanctuary is very beautiful. From parking lot, you are going down the hill to the entrance of 20 minutes hike. Entrance to this hike is very beautiful. I met few volunteers who greeted us with smile on their face. When you hike down the hill to marsh, you have to follow blue color trail. Once you reach at the bottom of the hill, you will find constitution marsh and breath taking view of west point. This place might get very warm in summer time.

The public is welcome to visit the Marsh and walk the trail as space allows.
