Love this place! Very personal care and service. Family run, and it shows. Prices are excellent, but it is the service that keeps me going back.

We had a wonderful online color consultant, Emily Hufford from JC Licht in Illinois, who recommended some Benjamin Moore cream shades and taupe shades.
Colorz of Clinton was the closest New Jersey Ben Moore retailer, so off we headed. We worked with a very animated fellow who quickly filled our order for small sample cans. Junior, as he is called, went above and beyond our simple request. He explained that color appears up to 40% lighter every time you double your sample area---once your sample area is sufficiently large, say around 16 square feet, this visual effect no longer holds.
Junior showed us a sample chip, then had us look at a store display, roughly 18" x 24." He said, "This display is the sample chip you are holding."
I couldn't believe it! The display looks so much lighter than the sample I was holding in my hand. But, sure enough, as I put the sample next to the display ..... They were THE SAME.
I highly recommend Colorz of Clinton for its friendly and fast service along with technical expertise.
Really can’t say enough about them. I remember going to the store when I was a child buying paint with my mom for her house. Fast forward 20 years and I’m buying paint and supplies for my first home. The father and son are so nice, energetic and helpful. They provide thoughtful tips and advice to make painting easier for the non-pro. Worth the price to avoid purchasing supplies from a big box store.
I love Colorz of Clinton. These guys are the absolute best! I bought a house in High Bridge recently and it's a major fixer upper. I've been in the store at least 8 or 9 times now in the past three months. They've helped with everything from picking colors, the best ceiling paint, trim paint, and Junior (the owners son) was really helpful with picking the best basement waterproofing paint. My basement is now nice and dry! The owner and his son are extremely knowledgeable, nice, and truly care about what they do and their customers. I will never go anywhere else for paint.
