(June 12, 2023, 2:18 pm)Clayton Park encompasses a beautiful forest stand with super old trees, which are truly magnificent. The trails follow the undulations of the terrain, so one gets better exercise than when just walking on level ground. This park is sooo good for the soul!!

(May 23, 2023, 5:37 pm)One of my favorite parks in Central NJ! The trails are well taken care of and there are many options. If you want an open field they have a trail for that as well as all the trails in the woods. There’s also a nice little lake that you can take a seat at a bench and admire. Some of the trails are very long so be cautious when you plan your route but, overall a great park for everyone!

(April 28, 2023, 8:37 am)The park is all trails that are pretty challenging but have beautiful scenery. Great during hot summer days because most of the trails are in the woods & the 2 creeks by the park help cool the air. No restrooms, just porta potties. Watch for equestrian riders & mountain bikes.

(April 22, 2023, 1:59 pm)You have flexibility to choose trail difficulty as well as length. Dense foliage and need not to worry too much about sunshine. Well preserved place. You can find some talking trees if you are still a kid at heart(see pictures). 😁😁😁
