Our room was adorable with the kinds of individual touches, gingerbread cookies by our bed, that made our weekend a perfect getaway. -

(January 27, 2023, 3:50 pm)You will never stay at a more tranquil and romantic B&B than Chestnut Hill. Linda and Rob are the sweetest humans to ever walk this planet, and they have made all of our stays simply perfect. The atmosphere is so wonderful that Chestnut Hill was where I proposed to my wife. Milford itself has some great restaurants. You can sit by the river or check out the local shops. There are also many wineries nearby.

(August 27, 2021, 8:41 pm)I have been staying at Chestnut Hill for 36 years. It is a wonderful, peaceful place and it's run by the most delightful people ever. Weather and river permitting, guests might be taken on a pontoon ride up the Delaware to see all sorts of interesting sights. There are several excellent restaurants in the area, including Milford House. I highly recommend a stay at this delightful Inn.

(June 8, 2021, 8:55 am)Absolutely beautiful little bed and breakfast. My wife and I came for our five-year wedding anniversary and couldn't have been more pleased with the choice. The property itself is gorgeous, and our room had fantastic views of the water (even from the bathtub). Plus, the Milford/Frenchtown area has tons of great things to do and eat, especially if you like outdoor activities. Highly recommended.

(July 4, 2019, 3:28 pm)My husband and I come here at least once a year. Our favorite room is Teddy’s Place - we even got engaged out in the private little terrace. The Rose Garden also is very comfortable and had beautiful light. Linda and Rob are truly the most welcoming and hospitable couple and their breakfasts are a treat! This is a terrific little oasis, a slice of heaven that we always look forward to!
