  Being fairly new here and having a dog with cardiac issues, we started seeing Dr.s at an emergency veterinary hospital as the cardiologist was there.
  
  But we wanted a local and family-oriented hospital like the one we had near our old home.
  
  I found Central Bucks Veterinary Hospital on social media before they opened and loved their mission, their story, and I could feel the compassion in their hearts through their posts.
  
  Sadly a few weeks before they opened our tiny chihuahua collapsed and wasn’t breathing. The ER vet did not give us a lot of hope. With suggested medication, we put our little angel on 24/7 watch and hoped she would live long enough to see the Dr.s at Central bucks veterinary hospital.
  
  We were on an email waiting list so when Central Bucks Vets opened their appointment portal, we made appointments for all the dogs and sent an email explaining what was going on with our Chihuahua.
  
  They immediately responded suggesting we could get an appointment for an echocardiogram 2 days after our first appointment!
  
  This was exactly what we needed, but couldn’t get an appointment until November with anyone else so I booked it!
  
  Our first visit with Dr. Perkins was mind blowing! He is incredibly knowledgeable, very compassionate, willing to educate to make sure that we understood what was going on.
  
  He sat down with us, and believed he could help her. He gave us hope!
  
  The day of the echocardiogram as well as other tests, Dr. Esplin knew that we were extremely worried, so she gave us a safe place to sit in a private room while our baby girl had tests run.
  
  The results were terrifying to the uneducated eye. But Dr. Perkins calmed us and outlined a plan that could keep her comfortable and give her a chance to live a happy life. No promises were made but his plan made sense.
  
  It's been a week now. Our baby is on medication and running around the house, going up and down stairs again and loving life!
  
  We don’t know how long we will have her, but we feel confident that these new meds are helping her as we see the changes in her.
  
  This has been extremely difficult, and Dr. Esplin has been the compassionate, calming source in my life, helping me understand medication, and literally talking with me on the phone for upwards of 45 minutes to make sure we’re all on the same page.
  
  From a financial standpoint, I was very shocked that this did not cost me an arm and a leg. I really got the impression from the things Dr. Perkins and Dr. Esplin said that we had options with regards to medication and costs etc. They were very thoughtful the whole time which made me relax a little bit.
  
  From the moment you walk in the door, you are treated with respect and kindness. There is a feeling of healing in the building, and now after having all three dogs in, two visits with Dr. Perkins, and back-and-forth with medication, we are absolutely certain that we have found our Vet family that is going to take excellent care of our fur babies.
  
  When your family is taken care of, you can relax. Our family came into this extremely stressed out, and these people are giving us hope and some breathing room.
  
  Thank you Dr. Perkins, Dr. Esplin and team, you are a gift and we are very grateful, and so incredibly happy to have you all in our lives.

  Dr. Esplin gives exemplary care to my pets, a dog and a cat. Not only is she sweet and warm with my animals, she’s also respectful. She listens to my questions and explains everything very thoroughly to me in a way that’s easy to understand. I drive a little further now just to see her! I feel grateful to have found her for my “girlies,” as she likes to call them :-)

  Central Bucks Veterinary Hospital truly checks all the boxes! Family owned and focused on the needs of each individual animal, I feel so at ease sending all of my pets here. Both Dr. Esplin & Dr. Perkins have such a wealth of knowledge and experience, treating every pet like the important family member they are. Every single person you meet here is incredibly welcoming and a pleasure to work with. They honestly want the best for your pet and do everything to make the visit as stress-free as possible. Even with my highly anxious dog, they took their time and went out of their way to make it the best experience for her. Very fairly priced and they explain everything thoroughly, which is so much appreciated. I cannot recommend this practice enough!!

  Great experience, as always! Dr Esplin is very attentive to the specific needs of our dog - Not a one size fits all approach. So refreshing! Sound science behind her diagnosis and treatment recommendations plus she provides a much appreciated value-added perspective.
