  Very educational and fun. Highly recommended and don't miss the fire tower, you'll get an amazing view from up if you aren't scared of heights.

  Very helpful and informative staff. The visitor center is not big but it has a very helpful staff. I think his name was Brent. He really helped me with planning and places to go to. Do check this out if you do not know what to do at Catskills.

  Very nice well maintained grounds. Extremely helpful staff. Kid friendly trails. Awesome fire tower (if you’re not afraid of heights!). Overall a great spot if you’re new or live in the area alike. I deducted one star, though, because I really think they should either keep tweezers for ticks as part of a first aid kid people can use for free, or not have the only option be a $15 set, that was really my only gripe.

  This was our first stop to enjoy the snow. The kids loved it. We hiked up to the top of the trail. Nice little hike! We didn't go into the visitor center, but the park was great, and the trail was nice. Very pretty in the winter!

  Visitor center is spacious and bright, good stop just for information about the region's offerings, but also worthwhile as a destination. There's a nice little park surrounding the visitor center. Fire Tower gives good views of the Northeastern Catskills. Interpretive trail gives good overview of Catskill history and nature. Planning to hike the rest of the trails next time I visit.
