  My son and I went for a half day. Great crew, the mates are awesome and know how to work with children and adults. The captain knows where the fish are. Great boat, everyone should fish with them.

  Great family fun. Our group has been going annually for several years and have always had a great experience. The deck mates are great with the kids and very patient. Catching or not, everyone has a blast.

  My Grandpop introduced me to the Carolyn Ann fishing experience in the mid-70s. I was a teenage boys out with his grandfather. Pop had a prosthetic leg and they took care of him made sure he got on the boat safely. We usually would rent a cabin on the island somewheres and go out couple of times on the head boat as we would call it. Caught our share a fluke some door mats the occasional sea robin some sea bass. I don't remember us anchoring a boat much because they would put us on a drift just off the shore. They were Fair people on both sides of the boat they lay the port to the shore one time and the starboard to the shore the next. But I had a habit of preferring to fish under the boat I'd stick my legs under the railing and my fishing rod between my toes and watch the tip as it would bounce across the bottom. Caught 3 fluke that day doing that. It's funny the things you remember when you're 62 years old but I do remember having a crush on a little blonde haired girl that worked the grill. I have a feeling she was part of the family. If I wasn't fishing I was eating something just to be in her company. The Carolyn Ann fishing experiences fueled my future love of fishing when I move to Florida after graduation.

  The best fishing boat on LBI. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful crew. The perfect boat for experienced or first time fishermen. A wonderful way to spend time with the family. My kids remember every trip we take.

  I went with two friends from church on the Fall Opening Season of Black Seabass. It was my first time on the CA III the boat was full but the spirit from the crew and the rest of the anglers were high with anticipation if catching fish. We caught fish. The first few spots the Captain anchored when we dropped our lines the fish were hopping on. When the fish stopped biting we moved to the next spot. I caught quite a few just a half inch short of the keeper size of 12 1/2 inches so back they went to GROW. I had three keepers. 😃 No one caught the limit of fifteen but on average five keepers of Seabass plus a few trigger fish, a few good sized porgy, two pufferfish, a Sea Robin, and a small sand shark. I hadn't been partyboat fishing in years and this trip brought back happy memories and reminded me how much I love saltwater fishing. The boat was in great condition, clean and a great knowledgeable crew. The only downsides was the cost $60 per person and the many times my line was caught by fellow anglers even with my 8 oz wight. Back in the late 90s to early 2000 the cost was max $30-35 dollars for full day and the size limit was about 8 or 9 inches. I am looking forward to fishing on the CA III in a week and hopefully with at least ten keepers.🎣🐟 A great time to be had.
