Beautiful view of the lake.
(Hatters Park is just down the road next to Duck Pin bowling alley)
Must pay to enter during the summer season but off season the main gate is usually left open.
It has a nice play area for kids and big kids. The equipment isn't very suitable for small children.
The park itself is completely fenced in with 3 entrances. The main entrance is at the crosswalk and parking is in the P.A.L. building lot directly across the street.
For boaters there is a boat launch to the right and a dirt lot directly across the street.
There is a concessions stand with bathrooms but it seems to rarely be open.
Geese visit every year so please watch your step and try to keep toddlers from picking up the feces.

(June 18, 2023, 5:30 pm)It's a beautiful small lake & park. It is only worth it if you are Danbury residents and willing to buy a pass, which is $35/pp for the whole season. Orelse don't visit as they will charge you $35/pp for out of town residents & you will be upset about it.
