  Awesome bike shop. Lou was a pleasure to meet and sold me an awesome mountain bike for a great deal. He made sure everything was setup for me before i left, and armed me with all the information I needed to hit the trails running. His shop it a little slice of Mountain bikers paradise.

  Had a great experience with Lou and Briarcliff Bikeworks. I called to ask about inventory and we spoke on the phone for about 20 mins so Lou could understand my riding experience and type of rides I was looking for. It’s been about 15 years since my last bike purchase so he patiently explained all of the innovations in the last decade+. I made an appointment to test ride a bike the following week and he had it ready for me. We customized the fit before taking it for a spin and I left with a new bike that I am very happy with at a great price. Briarcliff Bikeworks is more like a custom bike fitter than a normal retail shop and Lou is a true gentleman.

  Lou is the best! I bought my Ibis Ripley from him last April and the bike is amazing. I was back yesterday for a tune up and got the same treatment as when I bought the bike. Anthony did the work and explained everything he did in detail. When I bought the bike and when I was in yesterday, Lou took the time to make sure that the bike was set up exactly right for me before I left. Definitely a first class bike shop.

  Awesome repair skills. Bought my TallBoy with Lou several years ago and I keep coming back for good service. He and Anthony both do a great job diagnosing problems and fixing them. Quick turnaround time and also expertise about everything "mountain bike." My go-to repair shop whenever there is a problem with my bike!

  I've been buying bikes and gear from Lou for over 25 years. There is nobody more well versed in the nuanced craft of high end bike building and maintenance. He is a master wheel builder, and his technical knowledge is expansive. Beyond the nuts and bolts of how bike stuff works, he provides the kind of sage advice on component compatibility, best fit/function, and industry info and perspective that you won't find in forums or other media much less other shops.
