  We used them for 3 projects and would never even consider using anyone else. They are THE best and would recommend them 100%. They are a pleasure to work with during stressful renovations. You won’t be sorry! A few before and after pics of my small beach house kitchen. It was so dark and gloomy and now it’s bright and bigger.

  I have been using Breakwater Renovation for years now and wouldn't think of using anyone else. From start to finish my extensive downstairs renovation started on time, progressed smoothly and finished ahead of scheduled time. Lisa's planning and design skills are amazing, as is her foresight and problem solving. She was extremely helpful in assisting me to pick out elements and fixtures relevant and stylish to the goal we had in mind. The final kitchen project turned out better than I had ever anticipated. Fred's carpentry and installations are precise and impeccable. His entire crew was always careful, professional and protective of surrounding areas. He recently finished extensive exterior damage repair with amazing craftsmanship. I am looking forward to two more projects with them before years end.Three of my close friends have used them and we often find ourselves raving about their work when we're at each others homes.I highly recommend them for any home project.

  We have been working with Lisa & Fred for the past couple of years on several projects: Kitchen & bathroom renovations, built-in bookcases and a new Mudroom. Each project went seamlessly from Lisa's expert design concept to Fred's master craftsmanship & completion of each job. The number of decisions that need to be made when renovating can be overwhelming and I relied on Lisa's expertise to help me narrow down my choices. The entire team is professional, neat, punctual and they each take pride in their work and it shows. We couldn't be any happier with our decision to hire Lisa & Fred for our renovations & would highly recommend their services (in fact we have recommended them to several friends!).

  We are currently collaborating on our second project with Lisa and Fred who own Breakwater Renovation. In our previous project as well as our ongoing work together, design goals, project scope, budget and timelines have been defined and agreed upon from the beginning, and all work has been completed with the utmost regard for project integrity while delivering beyond our hopes and expectations. As clients, my husband and I have always been kept in the loop every step of the way and have been partners in all project decisions, both large and small. Communication on every detail is a huge benefit in with working with Lisa and Fred. With most renovation projects there are unexpected challenges with things like material availability, structural issues, subcontractor coordination, etc. Fred and Lisa are unrelenting in finding creative and timely solutions, and in producing an end result that gets rave reviews. We could not be more pleased to be able to team up with such a high quality and professional company to bring our renovation visions to life. We would think of using no one else for all future projects!

  We used Breakwater Renovations for our kitchen remodel in the fall of 2021 and we could not be happier with the results! From the start of the process, Lisa was incredibly helpful, communicative, and responsive in clearly laying out each milestone of the process, timing for decision making, and even helping out with design recommendations. Keep in mind, this was at a time where supplies were incredibly limited and delayed, and yet our renovation from demo to completion fit within an 8 week timeline, which is incredible given the circumstances.
  
  Kurt and Fred were also wonderful to work with. I work from home, and it was a pleasure working alongside Fred each day. They are incredibly nice and hardworking people, first and foremost, but the craftsmanship and care that was put into the renovation itself was second to none. The tile guys, countertop fabricators, hardwood floor guys, plumber, electricians they subcontracted were also great to work with. Everyone showed up on time and did great quality work.
  
  All in all the results were fabulous. Everyone who walks in comments on the positive change. Before & After pictures are attached - see for yourself!! I can't wait to work with Breakwater again.
