Very enjoyable way to spend a couple hours walking the grounds and visiting the few Revolutionary era buildings. Some great exhibits on hand, and you can get guided tours, as well. Washington was on these grounds for a couple days during the Battle of Brandywine. The Gilpin house is in great shape, even has a room believed to be the tavern from nearly 300 years ago. Huge 300 year old tree not far from the building is really cool to see.

The visitors center and historic houses are great. Battlefield is large for a Revolutionary War one, but not a lot to see.

Beautiful place steeped in history.
The tour was very informative and well constructed, and the people at the information center were friendly and helpful.
I definitely recommend coming here.

Nice place bit not actual battle site, just General Washington's headquarters! Also the park currently is opened on Fridays. Staff encountered was very friendly and informative.
