  EXCELLENT place to ride your (street legal) dirt bike, take a hike through the woods, and enjoy all the wildlife! I highly recommend!!!

  Blue holes is my favorite place here in NJ! Peace of mind relaxing fun people nice place to kick it and have a lot of frickin fun! There’s some off roading there no duh and ways to get back there not gonna tell you how cops can eat it we love the place and respect it! It feels safe back there very good memories can be made there! The woods the view the lake/quarry/ the water it’s so fascinating and Beautiful, there’s history with the body’s of water too depending where your at and the “blue holes” your at but it’s overall just a down to Earth peaceful place and also a place to let loose to its a good balance! It’s so worth checking out if you a bit of redneck or country you’ll like it more too!

  A beautiful serene place, but was saddened by the trash (bags of garbage and broken beer bottles) of recent partygoers in numerous parts of the lake.
  
  Broken beer bottles which is dangerous to wildlife, pets, and people were strewn throughout. Someone spray painted "Please pick-up your trash" on trees. It is a shame that someone had to do so to remind others to respect nature. I was there about a month ago (June '19) and did not see that level of debris around.
  
  ENJOY the area, but PLEASE have the decency to CLEAN UP after yourselves when you're done so others can enjoy it, too.
  
  ☆☆Do not attempt to go here for a few days after a rain unless you have a Jeep or large SUV as there is a good chance you'll get struck. ☆☆

  A Great Birding Area, Eagles, Hawks, and turkeys. Some say wolves, and coyotes, but deer for sure. Several crystal clear ponds, unfortunately no swimming allowed. The lakes are rumored to be extremely deep springs, feeding the Great Egg Harbor river. The area has semi abandoned roads, old NJ Southern Rail Road tracks, and dirt trails that are all great for bike riding. eNJoy
