(March 20, 2023, 6:00 pm)I brought my 2017 Freightliner to Black Rock for service a month ago, I took it to another dealer before Black Rock. I was having issues with transmission skipping gears while driving below 55 mph, first Dealership told me that I will need new clutch or transmission after diagnosis was done. This job would cost $16000 to $18000 of which I would not be able to come up with that much cash as an owner operator with one truck. So i took my truck to Black Rock, mechanic did road test came back and gave me diagnostic. Truck needed transmission service and split pin bushing. Cost me less than $3000 dollars. As an owner operator it’s always good to get a second opinion on engine and transmission service. My truck Runs great now, THANKS BLACK ROCK!!. you gain a new customer now. Also great customer service.
