  We just came back from staying at the Bittersweet Inn and it was clean,quiet and close to everything we wanted to do. Beautiful home away from home! The hosts were very nice and the room was great. We will definitely stay there again when visiting York, Maine.

  Edith was amazing! We were staying for a weekend retreat at the Omega Institute, and she catered to all of our needs while we were there. Her home cooked breakfasts were well worth it and the room was comfortable. Definitely worth it as a quiet place to rest or heads.

  Very clean and comfortable. Beautifully rustic and makes you feel like you stepped back in time.The innkeeper Edith is a delight, and makes you feel like family, and ohh can she cook. We will definitely stay there again and refer to friends

  We stayed 2 nights at the BitterSweet in August. Edith is a fun and wonderful host. We liked being out of downtown Rhinebeck and a little out in the country but close to the town. We would go back again. There is plenty to do in the area.

  Bittersweet B&B is a beautiful historic home run by a very nice woman named Edith. The home is very well furnished and decorated. The beds are very comfortable with luxury bedding. The home is clean quiet and cozy. Conversations with Edith at meal time were very nice. The grounds are beautiful, surrounded by mature hardwood forests straight out of a storybook. I have stayed at Edith's twice, its been a few years.. I miss the memories.. I'll be making reservations again soon
