  I am so grateful to Birthside Doulas for being such an amazing support during the most vulnerable and special moment in our lives. These ladies are dedicated to empowering their clients through education, nurturing guidance, and by being present every step of the way. I was able to birth our beautiful baby girl in my home with confidence, and even received continued care beyond her birth.   My husband and I could not thank Birthside Doulas enough for all of the support and guidance they provided throughout my pregnancy, my entire labor and delivery (couldn’t have done it without you Melissa!!!), and postpartum. We could not imagine going through it all without them and we are just so happy that we found them when we did. I never felt alone or lost because I know they were always just a call away. Highly recommend for first time mamas or really any mamas who want some support! Love these ladies so much!!

  Don’t hesitate, just book them! The birth workers at Birthside truly care about supporting families and babies prior to, during, and after a birth. Susanna, Noelle, and Melissa all were so communicative and caring during the prenatal period. I had the privilege of having Susanna support me during my home birth. She was phenomenal with offering comfort measures and other tips to help support both my husband and I through the intensity of birth. During the post partum period, there were so many amazing services to take advantage of, in addition to the visit that’s included. I could not have asked for a better experience, and am so thankful I found Birthside Doulas to help me build my home birth team.

  The Birthside Doulas helped my partner and I from the beginning, with exercises to help us determine our birth preferences and advocate for ourselves in the hospital. They really are there for you from the beginning and through unexpected circumstances stay calm, (sneak you food when you desperately need some sugar to keep pushing!) and continue to be a great resource after giving birth. We are so grateful to them that our experience felt calm and we felt in control as much as one can be! Susanna’s experience with births was so reassuring and she had great suggestions to try that really helped move things along when we were stuck, literally! She also took some fantastic photos that we will treasure for a lifetime.
