  Berny did a wonderful job cutting my hair and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get a haircut in the area. The Salon as a whole is a very friendly and professional culture. 10/10.

  My only regret is not finding this place sooner. I previously dyed my hair red from a box and was looking to go light - like brown to blonde balayage light. I went to a salon near me first and was left with a brassy, orange and yellow look due to the boxed red hair dye. I was feeling super low and not confident and desperately wanted to fix it before I left CT for the summer. I found Bird & was obsessed with the seamless blended looks and the gorgeous shades of blonde and brown they had on their Instagram! I was so elated to see they had slots open the day I was looking and booked an appointment for a partial highlight with Elise.
  
  This salon is truly the nicest I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to a lot). Everyone here is friendly, easy to talk to, and the salon is PACKED in the best way possible. Immaculate vibes! You’re given a personal robe and are offered a drink while you wait. Elise was incredible; she really listened to my desires and said she’ll do everything she can to tone down the orange, lighten my hair, and tone out the yellow. I really appreciated feeling listened to rather than her running with what she thinks would look best.
  
  Elise stayed past closing time with me and even blow dried my hair a little bit to see the end color. I loved it so much and felt sooo confident leaving the salon. Truly the best salon experience I’ve ever had. She was so kind and easy to talk to and she said I can reach her on Instagram with any questions! Bless this place - definitely go!!!

  There’s simply nowhere better. I live out of state now and save up my hair needs for a trip to CT because nowhere else I’ve tried gives this level of consistently great results. You can feel it in the building that people enjoy their jobs and like working there, which makes such a difference. The space is airy and stylish, and the staff attentive. I usually see Kimberly for cuts and Nicole for color. Always beyond happy with how it turns out. The clients in other chairs always seem to walk away with fresh takes on classic looks that they clearly love. I like that the clientele is a wide mix of ages, and still everyone just comes out looking beautiful. By far bird is my salon of choice!

  I was ecstatic with my perfect precision haircut from Nektarios yesterday. I am so lucky to have the amazing team at Bird Salon and to have someone as highly skilled as Nektarios cut my hair. The effort and absolute dedication to every detail of creating the perfect look is quite simply unsurpassed.   This salon is wonderful & a visit is always such a treat. Not only for the first class treatment I always receive but for the masterclass cut & advice Vasili always provides. He is a gentleman & truly an artist of hairstyle.
