The park has been there for a while, and it is a very nice location.
There are two recreation areas, one designated for 2-12 year olds.
There are two baseball fields, a basketball court, a sand volleyball area, picnic tables, and a small covered pavilion.
The park is kept very clean, and the playground equipment is well maintained.
During the summer, the Monday night Family Fun Nights are wonderful. Sponsored by the Beachwood Community Alliance, they are free nights of family-friendly activities.
Play equipment, arts and crafts, board games, the snack shack and bingo. The highlight of the night are the raffle drawings for prizes.
Mayor & Mrs. Roma, along with the volunteers provide an outstanding free night filled with family-friendly fun!
Very nice park; quiet, well kept, and groomed. Great place to bring the kids!! Everyone is always friendly. Equipped with two age-appropriate playgrounds, one smaller than the other. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because you cannot bring your dog. (I walk my dogs past everyday) entire park is nicely fenced-in for the children! The neighbors also seem polite, same as younger generation that frequently visit this destination, play basketball, compare cars, socialize, Ect. More so in the summertime. Lived here for four years plus, I walk my dogs, pass the park everyday I live a block away live less then a block away and enjoy the well kept up scenery.
Sometimes they do helicopter Landings! Not sure if it is for emergencies or if it is for practice, pretty sure it is for practice because I've only seen them and heard at night. Community cookouts are held for EMS, police, fireman, and also fundraisers picnics! Little League have games there as well!
