Another great experience at Big Y today. Was having a bad day, and my cashier, Jenice, picked up on my frustration with their app & quickly intervened to help me out. I walked in rushed & crabby, but I left smiling and grateful for the excellent employees and service at Big Y
Efficient, well stocked and an overall beautiful store but the employees didn't seem particularly happy about their jobs. In my opinion, a company that ignores the needs of its employees is ignoring the core of what makes a company successful. A positive 1workplace creates a positive atmosphere for the customers.
Great place to shop. Bakery staff was very helpful and cake was delicious. Store so clean it was sparkling. Great job staff especially the gentleman who waited on us in the bakery department.
I absolutely love Big Y.
The atmosphere and physical layout of the store make for a very pleasant shopping experience.
If an item isn’t available or out of stock and I visit another supermarket, the difference is very noticeable and the environment seems very hectic to me.
Employees at BY are also readily available if one has a question and go out of their way to assist.
I don’t encounter this at other grocery stores.
I like the feeling of shopping here. They have a great selection in their seafood department. But it's usually hard for me to get past the bakery section. If you go early enough, you can see the employees bring out all the fresh goodies. And it smells AMAZING. Their flyer sales are always good to take advantage of because most of their products are priced a little on the higher side. I always see employees in produce, but it seems just as often that I see packages of fruit that need to be tossed. Even if I pay a bit more, I usually find everything that I need plus more.
