  Dr. Smolarz is an excellent doctor! Incredibly smart, very kind & caring. He has the patient’s best interest in mind and truly wants to help. When I was feeling my absolute worst he was/is always there to help and give support. I trust him completely and I’m so grateful to have him as my doctor. Dr. Smolarz knows the thyroid, he put a plan in place and quickly put me on the path to recovery. He has given me my life back after years of suffering with thyroid issues & thinking I would never feel better. Thank you for exceptional care. If you are looking for an excellent endocrinologist I highly recommend Dr. Smolarz he is the best!

  Dr. Smolarz is a very smart, caring doctor. He makes the effort to figure out the causes of endocrine problems rather than merely treating symptoms or lab results. He gives thorough answers to questions without rushing the patient, and will acknowledge if something is outside his area of expertise. He understands that each patient is an individual, and respects patients' opinions regarding their treatment. I wish my interactions with other doctors were of the same character as those with Dr. Smolarz.

  Seeing Dr. Smolarz has given me a peace of mind I have been searching for. After meeting with him and reviewing my thyroid issues and history I finally feel it is being addressed properly. He explained everything in terms I could understand, answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. He gives you his undivided attention and assurance that his greatest purpose is to make you feel your best. I highly recommend him and feel he really knows his stuff.

  Anyone who has had multiple endocrinologists to tackle a complex problem knows that most have their own specific "beat," and if you fall outside of the typical categories it's hard to find someone to treat you. That's what makes Dr. Smolarz different -- within the first few minutes of meeting me, he told me that he likes complex cases, and I immediately felt encouraged. He took the time to pore through years of blood work with me, explain the results more thoroughly than the doctors who had ordered the tests, and identify gaps that warranted further testing. The whole time, he was attentive, empathetic, and sharp. After years of my "Medical Mystery Tour," I'm finally feeling hopeful again that I'll find answers.

  I had an amazing first time evaluation by Dr. Smolarz. Prior to the visit he had already spoken with my primary care doctor and reviewed by himself the original ultrasound studies of my thyroid. He took more than one hour to listen to my medical history and my concerns and took the time to carefully explain his impressions and opinions. He is very experienced,very knowledgeable and caring and willing to invest the time and energy to accomplish excellence for his patients.I will make sure that my family and friends in need of endocrinologist treatment will consult only with him.
