(July 7, 2019, 10:16 am)I was lucky enough to sail on the Sloop Woody in 2012. It was amazing,beautiful,and one of my fondest memories of that visit. Hoping to be able to share the experience with friends this year. Make the time-you’ll not be disappointed.

(June 3, 2018, 6:31 pm)These folks do at least three seasonal festival every year: Strawberry, Corn, and Pumpkin. An amazing amount of work and it is free - just like the sails they offer on the Woody Guthrie, a ferry sloop. They carry on Pete Seeger's vision. Bring people to the River and they will love it and take care of it. And they are a Sloop Club, not a yacht club!
