  Definitely an amazing piece of history to visit! My wife and I were passing through on the way to New York and we were happy to tour the innards of this enormous ship and take in the complexity of it. I honestly wish I lived close enough to help with restoring her, but I suppose that's one of the perks locals in the area get to enjoy!

  The Battleship New Jersey is awesome. This thing is HUGE! You could easily spend 4-6 hours touring it. The history is such an interesting part of the tour. This battleship and its crew went through a lot. It's definitely worth the money to visit.

  A very nice experience, if you love battleships, this is the museum for you. Very nice staff, very well informed. Thankfully they have AC in most places in the battleship. Nice artifacts and information. Very very well maintained and clean. If you are claustrophobic, I don’t recommend or if you have difficulty going down or up very steps steps I don’t recommend. Definitely not for small children or babies, this is a good experience for older kids, I would say maybe 10 years or older. I went with my 13 yrs old and he really enjoyed it, Overall a great experience!

  Awesome exhibits! Very well taken care of museum ship with knowledgeable staff throughout the ship who answered all my questions. Bill especially was a great guide through the turret and engineering areas! There's lots to see on this ship, and they have a very well laid out self guided tour complete with a map of the tour areas of the ship.
  As with any WW2 era Navy ship, it's not very accessible friendly, but there is an elevator up to the main deck with a ramp to get on board. Lots of walking and steep stairs to see everything available above and below the main deck. All the lower levels are air conditioned (very appreciated), so it wasn't too hot while touring the ship.

  The battleship experience was amazing! My family and I did the overnight with our son for Cub Scouts. Now, while I highly recommend the visit and tour, sleeping there was a slightly challenging experience. Not for tall or claustrophobic people, which I am neither. Still a great time. Everyone was very nice, helpful and funny. Just follow the rules and listen to the instructions and have a great time. The areas to go to and see how things operate are spectacular and so much respect for the people that do it. From the navigation deck to the weapons rooms and captains quarters, it's crazy cool! Morning colors, evening taps and chow line, all were awesome to participate in. We can't wait to go back for another tour!
