Avon Hotel - Toms River

We stayed for 3 nights and depending on what you're looking for this maybe the affordable hotel for your vacation. We've stayed in year's past when it was previously Comfort Inn. Under new ownership, Robert was very helpful during our stay. We were initially in room 303 but were physically unable to get into the room(door mechanism issue). We finally got in after several attempts but decided to let the front desk know. Luckily, Robert was ontop of the situation and was able to get us in another room (201) that didn't have this issue. As someone else previously mentioned when we got into our room, the TV was on which was a little odd but everything in the room was clean. Robert even gave us the towels from the previous room. The new room was missing a drain stopper in the bathroom but we didn't mind. The rest of our stay went just fine, and we even considered staying an extra night. In my year's experience of traveling to the Jersey Shore during the Summer, this is a very affordable hotel with a great location just 10 minutes from local attractions. There isn't breakfast offered but there is plenty of dining options near by. Will be staying again upon our next Jersey Shore visit!

We enjoyed our stay here so much. It's like a hidden gem. Jackie was so very helpful, and kind ,and cordial. Compassionate when she didn't have to be. Which shows a great deal about her character. Every single employee at this hotel was nice. Def highly recommend. And pricing and room were spot on. THANK YOU AVON FOR GIVING US a wonderful experience.

Excellent hotel to stay.
Much better place after renovated.

I would say this is the best option to stay in this area.

Recommend everyone to visit this place once.
