I like going there because the people there are really cool to talk to and you also get results that you really look forward to during physical therapy at Advanced PMR.. I look forward to having them as my physical therapist everytime I go there

Back in April 2020 I fractured my wrist in 2 place, stayed in a cast for about 6 weeks and started therapy soon after. I started therapy at Advanced PMR in Belmar and truly from my first phone call I knew I was choosing the right place. Maureen was so kind and accommodating that any concern I had went out the window, this was at the height of Covid. My first session was with Charisse, she did my initial evaluation and created a plan for me. We started with some basics to ease me into moving my wrist and hand again, amazing how fast our muscles forget how to work after only 6 weeks in a cast. Charisse assured me that it would take time but that soon I would be back to normal. Anthony conducted my sessions on the days that I wasn’t with Charisse, that worked out great because I got to know both of them and they both got to know me. Anthony and Charisse have two very different styles, also a benefit to me because on certain days my wrist required a different approach. Sam was always available to assist with therapy as well, she help with different devices and exercises. I can’t say enough about Advanced PMR, the entire team is friendly, very knowledgeable, and extremely comforting. They got to know me and learned my limits and how to push me to the next level. In the beginning of my therapy the set up was just myself and a therapist but over time more patients were allowed in, watching others progress helped to build confidence and move forward. Charisse, Anthony, Maureen and Sam my thanks and love to all of you, I never thought I would be as good as new but here I am. Make Advanced PMR your choice for therapy!!!

I've been coming to the Lake Como location for PT for about a month and Charisse has been my therapist. I find her to be extremely professional and very knowledgeable and have made a lot of improvement since I had first started. Maureen at the front desk is always friendly and strives to accommodate my varying schedule. Neal, who is one of the aides, is always friendly, attentive and an the ball. Michelle, who is either a manager or lead working PT, always seems to be aware of patient status and offers guidance if and when needed.

Being skilled as a rehab therapist is very important and at this location, both skill and an enjoyable experience are achieved. Great Work! Thanks Advanced PMR.

The atmosphere at Advanced PMR is excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly, well trained, and attentive. They personalize everything to my needs. I have an incredibly busy schedule, and Maureen at the front desk is always super accommodating. Michelle, Charisse, and Anthony have finally found the perfect methods to treat my headaches. They also provide acupuncture, Mo is very thorough when dealing with my symptoms. Alyssa and Neil are best PT aides to have when completing my exercises, they truly watch and correct my form. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone, especially those with headaches. The Lake Como office is always filled with laughter and fun.

The staff at PMR is amazing! My 9 year old receives physical therapy and acupuncture services at the Lake Como location. Michelle is his physical therapist and tailors exercises that will help him improve while he is having fun. Mo, the acupuncturist is also very patient with my son and always makes him feel relaxed during treatment. Everyone is very welcoming and we enjoy coming here for our appointments. I would definitely recommend Advanced PMR to anyone that is looking for a place that cares about their patients and how they feel.
