  Awesome store. They turned my knife into a left handed version for only $8. The blade edge on Japanese style knives is not symmetrical. They edge I chose was 90%/10%

  Great selection!! Small space, so you might walk right past it. Best to research the type of knife your looking for either through their website or by googling the info since they have such a huge selection. Plus they have several different types/brands of sharpening stones. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable. So cool

  Outstanding service and quality hand made ebony handles... the master craftsman personally replaced my brand new Masamoto wa-handle gyoto within 30 minutes... handles are all made in house by this very courteous and attentive artist, on site at the back area workshop which they will gladly show you... fit and finish is perfect... going from stock ho wood to ebony changed its profile to provide more balance, while creating that exotic look of only high end cutlery... and at a very affordable price range... this company has come up during past research on replacing handles, but was reluctant to ship them my knifes from Florida not having any prior experience dealing with them... was in town for a short visit, decided to pick a new knife... im very particular with the type of carbon, and a D shaped ho handle was the only stock option for it... i have been wanting to own an ebony handle knife and have always preferred octagonal... so replacing the handle was all that important with this purchase... and after been so happy with the end results I'll be looking to ship them some of my good old D shaped Masamoto yanagis with confidence... im so glad I decided to give them a try... shop with confidence, this people know their craft and provide a quality, courteous and speedy service... thanks again to the entire staff... from the courteous lady on the phone, ti the front counter staff... and the craftsman!!!
