(March 15, 2022, 12:01 pm)They say a photo speaks a thousands words, however I still think this photo doesn't do it justice to how spectacular my antique wing back piece turned out. Gustavo managed to reinforce the whole frame and added intricate details into the piece that I couldn't fathom prior to receiving my chair back. If you're on the fence about who to contact for your upholstery needs, please don't hesitate to call Gustavo. He does phenomenal work that you just can't find any where else. Plus his rates are affordable considering how much other upholsters are charging. Who knows how many years more Gus has in him. I wouldn't hesitate, just make the call you won't regret it. FYI he does have a bit of accent, however, that adds so much charm to his small family run business. Cannot wait to see how my boat seats turn out.

(October 13, 2014, 5:52 pm)I have used Gus for at least 14 yrs. He has upholstered a couple of sofas, made valences Ethan Allen kitchen chairs, my mothers 1950'svinyl kitchen chairs . I trusted him so much,
I gave him 2 vintage French, all tufted chairs and they came out beautifully. Gus is honest , fair, and a gentle soul. I recommend him to all my friends and they continue to thank me for his quality work and fair price. -

(December 29, 2012, 10:35 pm)This was my first time doing anything like this- upholstering my Dinning Room chairs. I enjoyed the way gus treated me and the service he provided. It was quick and very well detailed. I love that it's a small buisness i'm supporting and that i know my precious chairs will be just as precious to the person working on them. The price was amazing and i have no complaints. I finally found the perfect upholster for my furniture. I would recommend him to anyone on Long Island.
