  Saw it from the road and decided to stop. Having never had Jamaican food we were curious. We are from the south so we love spice. Very chill place, friendly, great recommendations (brownstew). The drinks were strong. 10/10

  I was visiting Waterbury for the 1st time and saw the Jamaican flag flying high outside a restaurant and decided to stop.
  Rewarding impulse.
  We were early for dinner, but the owners were very accommodating. The service was above par.
  One friend had oxtail, the other had fried and jerked chicken. I had jerked pork. All served with rice and peas and steamed vegetables.
  Me being the consummate gourmand, sampled everyone's plate. The food was excellent. Took me back to my grandmother's Sunday dinner.
  A piece of Jamaica in the heart of Connecticut.

  Just tried for the first time on Saturday & I must say their food is amazing. We arrived pretty late but still were able to try a few things & it was sooo goooood. The owners are super friendly and helpful and the food was super flavorful and had the perfect level of spice. You get a great amount of food for the price & I can't wait to try more.

  Yardy’s Jamaican cuisine is the best Jamaican restaurant in Waterbury!
  I stumble across this restaurant while searching for my next meal.
  I called in to inquire about the menu and learned it was their first day in business!
  I order the steam fish and brown stew chicken, both were amazing!
  Parking is plenty and the packaging was good.
  I will definitely be back.
