  I went with 3 boys age 11, 6 and 3. I read the reviews prior to visiting and was nervous my oldest wouldn't really enjoy himself. We went on a Friday morning during mid winter recess and while it was a bit crowded all 3 had a blast and asked if they could come back another day. My oldest entertained himself with building a wagon, while my other two boys loved rolling the balls down the different ramps. I paid through Groupon, 6$ per person, totally worth it in my opinion!

  Fun small kids museum right on the Playland boardwalk. Best for younger kids, however I went with 4 kids between 7-10 and they still had fun. Beautiful view out to the beach. They do not sell food but have a large area to eat if you bring food with you.

  Great for multi age play. I brought 3 kids ranging 1.5 to 6 years old and all were entertained for 2+ hours playing independently. On a school holiday it was very busy so I was glad to have 2 adults to watch the kids when they ran to different places but on an off day it's small enough that it would be pretty easy to bring multiple kids without an extra adult.
  Admission is low ($10/person) and memberships are a great option if you plan to go a few times.
