She's informative, friendly, and helpful and I truly don't believe my birth experience would have been nearly as positive as it was without her there. I highly recommend her doula services!
Really enjoyed her birthing class too - my husband and I learned so much and she was able to answer questions we didn't even know we had! -

(January 27, 2023, 9:38 am)I Highly recommend taking this birthing prep class with Hilary! As a first time mom I was nervous about giving birth and what to expect from the process. I was even nervous about what would happen at the hospital. Hilary put all those worries at ease, she answered all my questions. She is so smart in her field and gave me so many more answers than my OB's did. She really is passionate about what she does and that makes all the difference. The class is very informative and she makes it fun because she is so funny too! My husband joined me and he felt happy he did, as he learned labor support techniques and overall how to advocate for me during labor.

(October 19, 2022, 3:02 pm)The 2-day Birth Prep class was fantastic. The room/space was really nice, awesome to not be in a small classroom. We covered a lot of information in two days. Hilary has a great personality and speaks very well during the lectures. Both nights flew by! The class was awesome for my partner as well. Her class educates on all your options so that you can make the best decision for your own birth preference. It is not a one-style class. I will definitely be using her as a resource down the road.

(May 31, 2022, 4:23 pm)Hilary was such a well informed, fact-based, kind, comforting presence for me during the birth of my son. Nothing went according to my plan or intentions, I had a rare complication and had to be induced over four days, which eventually failed and resulted in a C Section. Nevertheless, Hilary had a plan for every possibility and walked me through those possibilities. She was prepared and knowledgeable throughout a hectic, changing situation. I was astounded by how gracious she was, with me, with the doctors, the nurses. I'm so glad she was there with me in the trenches. I cannot recommend her enough.

(October 12, 2021, 10:50 am)My husband and I left Hilary's class feeling much more prepared for the birth of our first child! We loved her emphasis on informed and empowered decision-making and she is so warm, personable and funny so we stayed engaged the whole time. It's also helpful that as a doula she has worked in many hospitals and birth centers in the Westchester/NYC/CT area including ours, so she could answer specific questions.
