We had Kate for an at home visit with our first born at 5 days old. Kate was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and made my husband and I feel very comfortable. She provided helpful feedback and clear next steps for our breastfeeding goals. I would highly recommend Kate to anyone who may need help with breastfeeding, or looking for the confidence and assurance in what has been established. Will be referring friends and family!

I met with Kate in my third trimester because I was so anxious about breastfeeding. She eased my mind and answered all my questions and it was so nice knowing that I had someone there should I have any issues with breastfeeding. Fast forward to when baby arrived, Kate fit me in right away to make sure everything was going well and just to check in. My baby is now 8 weeks old and still breastfeeding and it is going so well. Whenever I have a question, Kate is always so responsive and available to chat. She is so kind and truly invested in our journey.

After breastfeeding my first child for 8 months, I thought I was a seasoned professional. Then I had my second baby, who brought a totally different set of challenges! Kate came to our house for a consultation the same day I reached out to her. She provided great advice, tips and reassurance at the most vulnerable time for a new mom. There is an endless amount of information to learn about breastfeeding and if you're having trouble or excessive pain, do not hesitate to ask for help. Kate is warm, professional and very knowledgeable. She even came out for a follow-up visit a few days later to make sure we were doing well. She also accepts insurance (UnitedHealthcare in our case)!

After three weeks of breastfeeding the newborn and still experiencing sharp pain, I finally decided to reach out to a lactation consultant and it's the best decision! Kate / Welcome Baby 247 was recommended by my insurance and I didn't know what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised how professional and knowledgable and flexible Kate has been. Not only she was willing to travel to our home, but she gave me plenty of time and provided me with great tips for breastfeeding and pumping. Not only my pain level has decreased by a lot that I no longer bleed and cry when I feed, but she has been also available for post appointment consultation and follow up. I strongly recommend her services to anyone who needs help breastfeeding/pumping.

She gave me tips and took her time to help me troubleshoot challenges. Most importantly, Kate had unwavering confidence in my ability to nurse my son; her calm demeanor and reassuring nature was exactly the kind of support that I needed to get through the initial steep learning curve of breastfeeding. As I continued to nurse my son through his first year, I was in frequent contact with Kate for guidance on issues including pain, increasing supply, pumping at work, introducing solids, etc. She has always been very responsive and an invaluable resource of quality information. I am so grateful to Kate for her guidance and support throughout this journey, couldn't have done it without her!
