(August 29, 2023, 2:44 pm)Cabin was nice. Clean grounds. Very family friendly. VERY clean bathrooms. Staff is professional, friendly and extremely helpful. We had a problem with our a/c. It was fixed promptly. We had a great stay. Thank you Water's Edge!

(August 7, 2023, 12:51 pm)Pros: Great fishing for kids (sunfish and bass); spacious lots; well maintained campground; nice pool, rec hall and playground; reasonably priced store. Cons: bathrooms are REALLY far apart; golf carts are expensive.

The Bates Motel RV
(April 23, 2023, 7:18 pm)This was our first time staying at Waters Edge. We stayed for 7 nights on site L15A on the lake. Here is our take on the campground.
Pros: staff was extremely nice, and accommodating. They were actually some of the nicest staff we have encountered in CT campgrounds. This place is mostly seasonal sites and everyone we met was really friendly. The lake was pretty and lots of fish if you like fishing. The dog park is small but clean. The campstore was well stocked. It was opening week, so not sure if this is normal, but is was really quiet 24/7. Very relaxing. Our site was big, plenty of room.
Cons: The roads are tight if you have a large rig. The dump station looks very tricky to maneuver with a large rig and they have two trees on the turn to it that probably should be taken down to make it easier for people to access. The sites have hooks up on the front and wrong side of the site. If you are backing in your water and electric connection is on the front right of the rig. You will absolutely need extra cord and hose.
We did have a nice time, met lots people, great conversation, laughs. Isn't that what it's all about anyways! Thank you, Waters Edge for a nice stay.
