Great local nature center. Highly recommended a visit to learn about local natural history and for NPS Passport cancellation stamps.
This is an amazing place to take your kids. It is absolutely free, you can rent bikes for free, you can find plenty of shady spots for a picnic. There are trails to hike,a playground to play on, and so much more!
Just an awesome place to visit. Many things to do there. From the Nature Center to the many trails and "boardwalk", it's a great place to visit. Update:. Lots of improvements at the park. While increasing the size of the Veterans Cemetery a true bike, walking, skating, etc, paved path was created. No fear of cars while using the path now. They are also making improvements to the center itself. Appears they are putting a large deck on the back. There is also a rack of bikes to use in the park. Unsure if they have to be rented though. My running club enjoyed another day on the trails there so I wanted to update.
I truly had an awesome time immersing myself in every aspect of the place from the animals to the trails. This was my first time going here and the boardwalk trail was absolutely fantastic seeing little lizards and all the different bugs and plant life was really cool. A must see place for the nature lovers in Atlantic county.
Beautiful jewel hidden in new jersey. Miles of trails for mountain biking, walking, horse riding. There is also a ramp to drop boats and jet skis
A lot of activities that you can sign up for and even spots so you can have your own garden.
Great place for outdoor activities.
Please make sure that when you visit, you clean after yourself. Let's keep it in such a way that others can enjoy 😉 !!
