  Maxwell is a patient and very positive voice teacher. She takes the time to understand your voice and guides you towards your potential, finding your range and helping you develop your voice with specific techniques to improve your skills as a singer. She encourages you to be your best and makes you comfortable even if you are a novice. She starts out with breathing and airflow techniques, constantly giving positive feedback throughout each lesson. Thank you Maxwell for giving me new skills to improve my singing, which I always enjoyed. I just sound much better now in the shower!

  So much to say about this young lady...I am a 59 year old guy who has a passion for worship music, with a goal of leading worship vocally at my church...with no prior experience or training. It's one thing to have your friends and family tell you what a nice voice you have, but that was not a sufficient foundation to audition for our worship team. I started working with Maxwell about five months ago. I have really appreciated the patience and care taken each lesson to build on the skills and techniques from the prior weeks. Maxwell's attention to detail was frustrating at times, but brought forth the importance of the role I have set my eye on in leading worship. This past Sunday was my first opportunity to sing in a supporting role on our worship team. I felt 100% prepared, with very little anxiety or stress in doing so. Maxwell is a grace-filled and caring vocal teacher who will help you achieve your vocal/singing goals. She's the best!!

  I have been taking lessons with Maxwell for over a year now and absolutely love it! She has helped me improve immensely over the time I have been with her. I had been with vocal coaches before I found Maxwell. She works on more than just getting the notes right, but also improving vocal quality and tonality. I truly don’t know what I’d do without her. I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today, that’s for sure.

  Maxwell is an amazing, patient, encouraging mentor. She works with you to make sure you are comfortable with your vocal range, varying from high to low. Her studio is a very welcoming environment. It's chill. She talks with you during each lesson to ensure you cover everything you hope to achieve. Maxwell's breathing and airflow strategies are helpful and easy to incorporate when singing outside of lessons. The highlight of my daughter's week are her voice lessons! She feels more confident when she sings now. She knows that mistakes are a normal part of the learning process and is no longer embarrassed when they happen. Thank you Maxwell for helping my daughter become more confident and connected with herself and her voice!
